Red Christmas

It's been a very very very VERY long time since I've posted.  Daily I try to understand where the time goes.  Haven't found the answer yet.  If anyone knows, feel free to scream it to me!  Now that winter is pretty much here, crafting usually is the front runner for things to do.  I find I get far more done when the weather outside is frightful.

 Good morning folks :)

I hope it's a good morning for ya'll cause I am a sick sniffling mess!  I don't know why my body even bothers to try and fight it.  I'm ALWAYS going to catch it.  I'd sooner suffer with the rest of the family than have everyone better and me lagging for another week!  I think colds are like mob bosses; you can tell yourself they let you off the hook for payment buuut we all know they'll be back....and collecting interest!  

I won't go down without fighting though.  Inky Gardens (offical name :)) will most likely be doing another craft show this coming November soooo, as long as my fingers aren't suffering from excessive snot,   I WILL NOT SUCCUMB!

Evening folks :) From here on in I think I'm going to consider myself a seasonal blogger. Once the beautiful weather started, I swear I heard my craft room sniffling...LOL I'm actually really busy crafting. I swear. Birthdays and Baby Showers. Communions and Weddings. Well, since my last post I mentioned I wouldn't wait 3 months to post again so here I am! Soooooo much has been happening these days. My P.I.C.C and I had a craft show in March, Lia's Birthday and Party during Easter weekend and of course Easter lunches and dinners!

Now for the next string of crazy to begin! Lia's communion, 2 Birthday parties, another communion and my sisters up-and-coming baby shower which will fall in the same month as Emma's 4th Birthday......ummmmm.....I'm taking applications from anyone willing to be my cardboard cutout for a day! LOL

I've managed to get some cards photographed before they were sold at the show and here's a bunch that I cased from the Hero Arts blog (created by Sally). I loved the way they turned out :))

Howdy Ho!

It's Friday night and I'm watching T.V with the hubby :) This is me typing between commercials! lol

What a pleasant surprise this morning when I scoped my Friday blogroll. My sympathy cards HERE were mentioned on the almighty Moxie Fab World Blog! Oh happy day! *Insert dancing through the meadows here*

It's one c-c-c-c-old and gloomy day here :(

We have had some great weather but it looks like summer is long gone. I don't know about you but I don't mind cool weather. As long as it warms up a bit for Halloween. Nothing is worse than kiddies all bundled up not being able to showcase their costumes....

Anyhoo, Here are some sympathy card I put together for the craft show. My P.I.C.C and I are venturing out and trying something new. The bazaar we worked last year will not be hosting this year :( So we decided to scan the web for functions happening close to home. We found one in their first year called Truly Handmade Christmas Craft Show. So far the have a great list of vendors with yummy Christmas goodies. We will be sending in our application a.s.a.p and hopefully all will run smoothly :))
