Red Christmas

It's been a very very very VERY long time since I've posted.  Daily I try to understand where the time goes.  Haven't found the answer yet.  If anyone knows, feel free to scream it to me!  Now that winter is pretty much here, crafting usually is the front runner for things to do.  I find I get far more done when the weather outside is frightful.

I'll keep todays post short and sweet.  CAS Christmas card.  See?  S & S ;)

Hello Kitty

It's April.  Which means Spring should be in full swing.  NOT!  It's been extremely slow going here in Ontario.  We get one lovely day of 15 degrees Celsius followed by -12 degrees Celsius and flurries!  Not impressed.

Anyway, as usual, things around here are busy.  Getting orders filled, showcasing our work for an open house and Birthday parties.  Breathe.

Hello Kitty seems to be a big deal these days although my little Emma has loved her forever.  Her 4th b-day party was Hello Kitty themed (HERE).  So passing on the love, I decided to make a bunch of these cuties for some special little girls out there :)

Bridal shower

Yet again, I am behind on my blogging.  I've put myself into the naughty corner and thought about what I did wrong and I'm ready to come back!
2012 ended rough.  A close death in the family brought regular Christmas traditions some sadness.  My P.I.C.C and I had a craft show the same weekend and had a bridal shower we were working on.  Needless to say, 2013 was frantically welcomed.

So far this year has not disappointed.  My God-Daughter's bridal shower was a success and in 10 days time, I'll be heading downtown to my see FIRST CONCERT EVER!  Oh the joy!  Wondering which concert?  Maroon 5!  Amazing seats and great company will be sure to bring a huge smile to my face....not to mention the always adorable Adam Levine *swoon*

On to the crafty shtuff...Here are a few pics of the shower. Nothing says love more than a bridal shower :) The shower was Tiffany's inspired colors and decor.  We created everything from the invitations to the cupcake wrapper pompom center pieces.  The cake was from a local bakery.
There are a TON of pictures on our Facebook page HERE.  Swing by and "like" InkyGardens :)

Baby Boy

 Good morning folks :)

I hope it's a good morning for ya'll cause I am a sick sniffling mess!  I don't know why my body even bothers to try and fight it.  I'm ALWAYS going to catch it.  I'd sooner suffer with the rest of the family than have everyone better and me lagging for another week!  I think colds are like mob bosses; you can tell yourself they let you off the hook for payment buuut we all know they'll be back....and collecting interest!

I won't go down without fighting though.  Inky Gardens (offical name :)) will most likely be doing another craft show this coming November soooo, as long as my fingers aren't suffering from excessive snot,   I WILL NOT SUCCUMB!

Fairly simple baby card.  Inside is done as well :)
