Here Comes The Bride

Let the countdown begin! 4 days until England marries it's future king and queen!
I'm not an obsessive follower but interested to say the least. The Renaissance is my era of choice. I have read everything on King Henry VIII and each one of his wives. The Tudors was my guilty pleasure and now I am currently watching The Borgias (The Original Crime Family). Sooooo juicy!

So in celebration, The Kaboodle Doodles team challenge theme this week is HERE COMES THE BRIDE. What does that mean. Well, a wedding card or gift, bridal shower....anything to do with brides/wedding.

Our sponsor this week is the always generous Crafty Pad. The winner (chosen at random) will receive 2 images from their store :)

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations: Use A Digi
Sparkles Forum: Anything Goes
Stamping Vacation: Weddings
Fairy Fun Fridays: Showers or Flowers
Stampin' For The Weekend: Weddings
Totally Papercrafts: Weddings

Wedding Gift Set

Howdy Folks!

This has been a crazy year for weather so far! Yesterday we experienced a small tremor from an earthquake in Quebec and tonight they are calling for severe thunderstorms ands tornado activity! We don't get much excitement around here so once the tremor hit, everyone was a little confused. My china cabinet was rattling but I thought that was the normal creeks of the house....uh I was soooo wrong!

Anyway, I have been super busy with diaper cakes and gift sets that I haven't been blogging much but I'm back now and on to some challenge entries to boot :)

I love making these sets. The concept was inspired by the wonderful Nicole Heady from Papertry Ink. You can find the original design here and a set that I made based on it here.

This set is the same concept. Although I came up with around 80 questions all wedding and dating related, perfect for a new bride to journal her life with her new husband :)

** Loads of pictures for this set!**

As busy as it is, I still managed to get a card made for a client. She has a 1920's themed wedding to attend and asked for a fun card. I don't do vintage often but I'm always up for a challenge :)
1920 images seem impossible to find. I came across this one online and gave it a shot. I tried to grab the 20's feel with adding feathers and some lace. Hope you likey :)
