All About Lia

Good Day Everyone :)
So this week was back to school for us here in Mississauga. Lia started grade 1 and I cut the cord :( well.....sort of........
I still wanted to see her at lunch time so I can get the latest scoop on the "who's who" and get my mid day dose of my big girl. So yes. I cheated a bit! lol
Next week she will be eating her lunch at school so I think it will hit me then.
Here are a few pics of my supermodel on her way to grade 1....sniff sniff

Well, seeing that today's post is all about Lia, here is a card that she made and BEGGED me to enter it into some challenges. I think she just wants to read the comments ;P
She watches me in awe when I'm creating and asks "when will I be able to make beautiful cards like you mommy? You make the best cards!" WOW talk about pride pleaser! LOL
So I told her she needs to come up with a sketch, color scheme and a greeting. Very excitedly, she starts to doodle doodle doodle and asks if she could start. well, we all know it's not that easy. "Okay sweety, we need to pick out your papers, and make them the right size so we need to measure..........." Lia's response: "Holy! There's alot to do before gluing the pieces together!" LOL
An hour later, her masterpiece was done :) (I did help tie the bow)

These are the challenges that I'm entering for her:
Paper Romance: Clean and Simple
Fab 'n' Funky: Anything Goes
The Paper Players: Clean and Simple
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lia's Recipe:
Standard A2
Cardstock: Recollections, DCWV
Stamps: Studio G (Owl), Dollar Bin Sentiment
Inks: Stazon
Coloring: Prisma Colored Pencils, Staedler
Ribbon: Offray
Punches: Martha Stewart (Daisy Boarder)

Well I hoped you enjoyed something a little different :) Ciao for now.......

Sandra, she's not only gorgeous, she's talented, too! I love the happy, sunny colors she chose and some fabulous details, too!
Thanks to both of you for joining the Paper Players this week.

Adorable card, Lia! I liked the colors and the daisy punch that you used. But my favorite part was the owl! Great job! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!
