It's been awhile...

Has it really been 3 months since my last post????? Oh my.

Well, since then my P.I.C.C and I have had our yearly Christmas Craft show and working overtime for another show for the end of March. So, needless to say, things have been busy busy busy!

We have never done a craft show in the spring so the criteria changes. More Easter cards, Mother's/Father's Day, Wedding, Communion, and to top it all off, this show is for Breast Cancer Awareness so OODLES of think pink type cards, get wells and life journal sets.......
Anyone have an extra 24hours of their day to spare???? LOL

Anyhoo, Today's post is 100% inspired by an artist named Sarah J. Moerman featured in this months PaperCrafts Magazine (Pg. 69). I LOVED the color combinations and style of her tags that I had to create them. I added a few extras and improvised in the choice of Die Cutting Machine. She used Silhouette and I used The Gyspy/Cricut :)
(Weather is really gloomy today :( Sorry bout the gloomy pics!)

Hope I did Sarah justice!

Happy Thursday!

Well it's been a dark and gloomy week so far here :( Spring is just not wanting to cooperate!

On the brighter side of things, We have a new challenge over at Paper Romance this week. This week we want to see some TAGS. Add them to a card or scrapbook page or just on their own....it's up to you!

For this tag I used the cutest set of skunks I've ever seen. I am actually terrified of skunks but I couldn't resist these two :) The stamp is called Rubbing Nosies and you can find it at The Paper Romance Store.

The winner of this challenge (chosen at random) will be entered into the monthly draw to receive a $10 Gift Certificate to The Paper Romance Store. There is also a top 3 up for grabs!

Here are a few challenges I'd like to enter:

Die Cuttin' Divas: Tag Your It
Tuesday Throwdown: PolkaDots
Craft Your Passion: Use Dots
Pile It On: Use Rubber Stamp

Stationary Box Set

Hiyeeee :D

It's about 10:30p here and figured what better way to get tired than to stare at the puter for a couple of hours LOL

So here I go!
I put this stationary box together....yes....for the up and coming bazaar (It seems to be taking over my life!) Kept them simple and blank on the inside to allow versatility. The butterfly was cut with the cricut but the layer didn't work out with the details being sooooo small. I didn't want to chuck out all the cuts so I improvised and used the best layer that cut and stenciled it in with an American Crafts Broad tip White Pen (Milky Way). I see these templates everywhere but I found mine HERE

I'm diggin the way they turned out :)

And you know me, I love a challenge, so I entered a few...............

Daring Card Makers: Things that Fly, Flutter, or Hover
Cute Card Thursday: Birds or Butterflies

Evening everyone! Gonna get one last post in before the Christmas Craziness! These tags were created for a few of challenges. Scrapjazz wanted 3 tags and Creative belli Challenge wanted tags as well and La-la Land Crafts wanted anything but a card.
I just picked up these adorable acrylic stamps from Inkadinkado. So I gave them a whirl and I found myself HIGHLY addicted to coloring! Once you start, you can't stop! The pictures are a little dark. I need my children to allow me to take pictures of my crafts during the day instead of THEM walking in front of the camera! Oh well....
My Recipe: Papers: Scraps of all kinds
Stamps: Inkadinkado
Ink: Stazon (timber brown)
Craft smart: (teal)
Coloring: Prisma Pencils with gamsol
Ribbon: Unknown
Rub Ons: Unknown
Other: stitching and glittering

Okay so off to bed for some good, much needed rest! Night night and Happy Holidays to all :-))
