Baby Boy

 Good morning folks :)

I hope it's a good morning for ya'll cause I am a sick sniffling mess!  I don't know why my body even bothers to try and fight it.  I'm ALWAYS going to catch it.  I'd sooner suffer with the rest of the family than have everyone better and me lagging for another week!  I think colds are like mob bosses; you can tell yourself they let you off the hook for payment buuut we all know they'll be back....and collecting interest!

I won't go down without fighting though.  Inky Gardens (offical name :)) will most likely be doing another craft show this coming November soooo, as long as my fingers aren't suffering from excessive snot,   I WILL NOT SUCCUMB!

Fairly simple baby card.  Inside is done as well :)

Challenges I'd like to enter:

Papertake Weekly: Things that make you go Awwww
Bearly-Mine: Anything Goes
Love To Create: Ribbon or Twine
The Crazy Challenge: Seeing Spots

My Recipe:

So busy is an understatement! I can't stay afloat with life these days, especially since the weather got better. I get the kids out EVERYDAY and they still want more! Cleaning the house doesn't even make sense cause 5 seconds later, it's a mess again!

2 more years. That's it. That's what I keep telling myself at least............
Anyway, didn't get quiet time while creating this card (had Emma at my side) but this card proves women can muti task! LOL
I love how this turned out. VERY old chipboard letters that I resurfaced and odds and ends made this card exactly want I pictured it to be :))

Hello Kitty Birthday Card

So last week I mentioned that my little one (Emma) was a sicky-poo. Well, I'm going on 1 week now with about 12 hours of sleep...TOTAL! The funny thing is that the virus is gone now but the sucky "I want you to carry me and my 26 pounds around ALL day just because" is still lingering! Somethings gotta give. Either my hips are going to crumble and be replaced at 30 or fall asleep while drawing what seems like the millionth smiley face on the doodle board....I'm taking bets! lol
Thank goodness for coffee, tea, soda, redbull, chocolate cake..... and just about everything else that has over 30g of sugar 8-D

Carrying on while still on my sugar rush..... on to a challenge entry. This card was a request for a client's Granddaughter on her 1st Birthday. I used the color combo for Paper Play Challenges. They wanted Pink, Green and White. (Ugh. Sorry about the lighting. Nighttime again)

~~ Be sure to check out their blog for some fantastic inspiration~~

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I hope your holidays were wondrous and exciting and the new year brings you luck and peace.
It was a quiet one for us here. The hubby was working throughout so the kiddies and I just hung out, baked cookies and made messes of course
With it being a New Year and all, I thought it fitting to change the blog up a bit.....okay ALOT! LOL I'm still trying to figure out what my "style" is and if it's anything like my home or craft room.....my style is CHANGE! I'm constantly moving things around, purging every couple of months and purchasing too! hehehe
