Most of us can ask our Grandparents anything. Me? lol. I ask her for old fabrics, floss and just about anything that can be stuck on paper! She taught me how to sew, knit AND crochet at the age of 6, but sadly, as I grew older, I took on other things that consumed my time. I look back and regret not keeping up with it but it doesn't seem to bother her. She is quite content with the choices I made. Small ones and big. Good and bad.
So after asking, she digs deep into her bin'o'fabrics and pulls out 2 boxes. Who would have thought that the smell of old cloth would be so exciting! YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT DON'T YOU?!
A little bit of this and that...... oh and that too! LOL Knowing my dear Grandmother, once I left she was probably digging around to see what else she could find for my next visit!
Here is few pictures of the wondrous ones with the girls......
So with that said, I quickly put them to work! This card is for my final GDS over at Crafts 4 Eternity. I had a terrific time working with them and their sketches always get my noggin workin'. Be sure to give them a peek....or two. Thanks again ladies ;-)
Here is what's going on this week:
